Hi, I actually had some ideas for the rest of the story. I'd tie the original monster back in somehow, and make the end relate to the beginning. Maybe give him a reason for needing to grow up, as marrying a girl is a part of growing up and not really a reason for it. I'd want him to realize that, though he misses his mother, it's time for him to move on, that it wasn't that his mother didn't love him, but sometimes people need things that they can't get from what they have.

Everything was ready. After weeks of preparation, Jeremy finally was set to go. Baseball bat in hand, he climbed out of bed and tiptoed down the hall.
