Ever since he could remember, Jeremy felt unsettled whenever he felt the wind upon his face. Be it rushing in from his bedroom window or rushing past his ears on an open field, Jeremy felt the windıs power, and he felt the need for shelter. It meant that the wind, with all its invisible eddies and gusts, had traveled: across fields and oceans and over other houses, and over a whole unseen world that he knew nothing about. This new world seemed so large and hidden and mysterious. It made Jeremy feel insignificant.
