Jeremy wasnąt unhappy with his family. He wasnąt trying to flee them, when he listened to the wind night after night. His father was a kind, hard working man who was never mean or unreasonable to either Jeremy or his mother. His two great loves, outside of his family, were his job, and taking a nap in his favorite chair for an hour or two after dinner. Jeremy loved his father greatly.
