4/7/05 - Okay, i feel really super-lame. There is no strip today because i got entrenched in a really interesting phone-conversation. And last night I was drawing until 1:00, and now it's tonight and it's 11:00, and i just can't do it again.

4/8/05 - Okay, it's thursday night, it's 8:00, the comics are done, and my brain is totally wasted. Perhaps i've been pushing myself a little too hard lately.
Anyhow, I may try to do two strips for Monday, but not sure, and not going to stress or think about it whatsoever right now, just gonna go to bed.

4/14/05 - So, I've been pushing myself too hard. And lately, I haven't been able to keep up, and am falling short. I apologize again for a missed strip, although the text is written, it is just not drawn.
The two positives: I am taking the first two week os May off. I am going to simply go away. I have excessively talented people (Jenn Manley Lee and Dylan Meconis) filling in for me, and I am not going to look back for two weeks. I really need this.
The other thing is, for those of you who initially found my other comic strip Little Dee not as deep as Bruno, you may want to give it a second chance. I admit that on some levels it will always be a different project than Bruno, and it does cater to a laugh each day which makes one feel good inside which means it will always be a simpler less-deep project, but I'd like to think that the characters have developed a depth and personality worth a second chance.
Anyhow. I am going to go sleep now. My apologies again.

4/29/05 - So, I'm going on vacation until May 16th. A very much needed vacation as you no doubt have observed. And you are very fortunate in that the fill-in strips will be done by the amazingly talented Jenn Manley Lee and Dylan Meconis.
Also, the book printing is pretty much done, but I didn't have them ship it to me because I wasn't sure it would arrive before i leave. But, the point being that the books will be released in the end of may/beginning of june.
