I walked down to Oranje Bay and sat at the little Scubaqua beach in the shade watching the waves roll in." -- Panel 10: Drawing of me walking among people, me carrying some food I just bought at a food counter. Caption, "Esther invited me to the monthly "Taste of the Caribbean," and I hung out on the big cement bleachers with her and her friends Mary and Jamie. It was basically two long rows of food stalls and a stage for music all outdoors. I had a eggplant/pumpkin curry roti from the Guyanese counter."
