Two years ago, on a long road trip from Colorado to Seattle, I took my Dad and dog, a Pussywoodle (mixed breed between a poodle and a wussy), stopping both ways at the Amber by chance. They were great for allowing dogs. We ate at the truckstop but they did not have the diarama then. We met a small plane pilot, the only other patron, who knew where Rifle Colorado was and we even had a couple mutual acquaintances. I do believe that place has something mystical/spiritual about it.
I often see some common places and experiences in your journal… odd, that.
