Title: Wrapping Up Panel 1: Drawing of Callistus performing in front of a crowd outside at night. Caption, "12/9/22 - Callistus was in a production of Kamara Thomas's "Tularosa: An American Dreamtime" at SFAI, talking about the marvels of invasive species." -- Panel 2: Drawing of a breakfast scene with A.J., her housemate, a friends of hers nursing a baby, and myself. Caption, "12/10/22 - I had brunch with A.J. and her housemate, a friend, and the friend's baby. Everyone was chatty and in good spirits." -- Panel 3: Drawing of Calistus and I walking and talking. Caption, "12/11/22 - Callistus and I met for mi-day tea-coffee, and then went for a walk. I talked a lot about how this upcoming trip is like a retreat for me, a time where I can allow myself to actually focus on me, and re-learn how to emotionally care of myself." -- Panel 4: Drawing of a woman in costume on a rooftop yelling, "No Hay Posada!" And the crowd below yelling back, "Booo!." Caption, "Later, I went to Las Posadas, meeting up again with Callistus, as well as with John, Callistus's dad, A.J., and two of A.J.'s friends. Basically, in the lit-up Santa Fe plaza, Mary and Joseph being turned away from the all the inns, and then everyone sang Christmas songs, and it as all in Spanish. -- Panel 5: Drawing of macabre and I sitting on the red couches, talking. Caption, "12/12/22 - Macaire came over for dinner. Since most of my food was packed, I bought a frozen pizza and some danish. At this point I only have one topic of conversation left rattling in my head: that I'm anxious and excited about my upcoming trip." -- Panel 6: Drawing of me throwing a ball for Raven, a dog, and Pula and I talking as I do this. Caption, "12/13/22 - Pula invited me over for a quiche brunch, and then we played fetch for a bit with Raven. Pula was all happy about life things." -- Panel 7: Drawing of Cedra and I on the red couches, playing cribbage and talking. Caption, "Cedra and I went to Trader Joes to get junk for dinner, and then sat around playing cribbage and sharing stories before my trip. It was very sweet, and also sad to say goodbye." -- Panel 8: Drawing of me fussing over some small items on a shelf. Caption, "12/14/22 - After cleaning and packing, and packing and cleaning for a week, the last morning I spent pacing the house, looking for any little detail I might have missed tidying." -- Panel 9: Drawing of Callistus and I hugging goodbye at the airport, my luggage by my side. Caption, "I dropped my car off at john's (to loan) and Callistus brought me to the airport. Always nice to depart with a hug from a good friend."
