Oh, it’s beautiful… especially to someone who spent their childhood in the metropolitan area of Ohio (town after town after town, with no indication of one’s end and another’s beginning), who moved to central Montana as a teenager… simply gorgeous, to the point of actual tears at some of the views..

When you make the leg of the drive from AZ into San Diego along the 8, be ware the winding (windy) stretches. Not the best idea to drive while tired.
