I’m glad Jo is feeling better. Even if it’s only situational (don’t screw this one up, Zack!).

Jo and Zack met with Audri and Lasper in Val’s living room. Jo said, “Hey, Val.” Val said, “Hey, Jo. Listen, the main reason I came back to earth was to make sure you’re okay. I know you were feeling suicidal again.” Jo said, “Thank you. Yeah. I’m much better now. Funny how love will do that.” Zack said, “We’re totally in love with one another.” Smiling, Jo said, “But there’s room here for you too.” Thumbing back outside, Val said, “No. Unless I get my body back, space is where I belong now.” Jo said, “I’m kinda’ jealous. I’ve never felt I belonged anywhere.” Looking a bit pitiful, Val said, “If I could trade skins, trust me, I would. Although I’d stop dating you, Zack. No offense.” Grinning and looking at Jo, Zack said, “None taken. I’d still be in love with my then furry stumpy cloppity lover anyway.” In love, Jo said, “Doesn’t his love-talk give you shivers?” Less impressed, Val said, “Yes. But that often happens when I feel disturbed.”

Becoming a space pirate will be a good fit, then.
.
“Shiver me timbers!”
“The ship’s made of metal.”
“Shiver me girders!”
Yarrr. Um. Matey?
Do I get to be that guy? It appears I do…. The alt-text begins, “Jo and Zack met with Audri and Lasper…,” but I think that the furry one in this situation is Val, if I’m not mistaken.
I’m really not sure this interview is going any better than Audri’s with Nick. The sense of revulsion is reversed, but less because of prejudice and more from saccharine poisoning. Blecch! There’s pillow talk, and then there’s pillow-over-the-face talk.
