Having met a glowing red doorway, Lasper said, Annnnnd apparently there’s a laser wall which will fry anyone to ashes who tries to pass.” Picknar said, “Crap.” Lasper asked, “Any ideas?” Picknar said. “Nope.” Thoos said, “Anyone got a ruptometer? Mine is back at home.” Lasper said down on the stairs and said, “Heh. Yeah, right. Those things cost a fortune.” Thoos corrected him, “Hardly. My family has several, and we still have plenty of money.” Knox went over and pulled off the electronic wall control panel while saying, “Well, if no one has any ideas, I’ll do what they always do in the movies and pull out the control panel and yank out some of these-” And then the ligtht went out with a “Bjiwwwwwwwwwwww…” Knox thumbed over at where the control panel had been yanked from and said, “That control panel was for the lights, not the door, wasn’t it?” Lasper said, “With genius ideas come genius deductions, ey?”
