Why are ideas which are described as “the best” so often so absolutely terrible (while also somehow maybe still being the best)?

Chilling in the escape pod in the desert, Audri said, “I have the best idea.” Val said, “Yeah? Whuzzat?” Audri pointed at the first-aid bot and said to the food synth, “Hey, food synth. Give the first-aid bot arms so that it can serve us drinks. And give it an outfit.” The food-synth asked, “What kind of clothing?” Audri excitedly said, “Make it look all like a butler. A human male butler. Serious and with hair slicked back.” Val added, “But tiny.” rolling onto her back, Audri said, “The whole jacket with tails and tie, and a white towel draped over its arm.” Val said, “But no pants or underwear! And make it talk all droll as it serves us drinks.” Audri broke into laughter, but then got serious again and asked Val, “Heh. Val, are we going to feel guilty for objectifying men-” Val aded, “And butlers.” Audri continued, “-and butlers when we wake up in the morning?” Val said, “Fortunately, if we do, I only have to feel guilty for a few more days.” Audri yelled, “Hey! No fair!”
