Well, happy new years you all. I had some amazing things in my life this year, but also a lot of stressors and I’m not sad to see it go. The classic comics of the old man with a sickle passing the year off to a baby makes a lot more sense to me than it used to. Well, the old man part. He’s tired. Let him rest. I guess the baby makes sense too, as all a baby really is, is potential, right? I mean, lovable potential, of course.
Anyhow. Best wishes to all of you for 2025.

An alien in a red hover-vehicle pulled up next to Val and Audri. A bird-like alien jumped out brandishing a spear and said, “I heard a Bollyck is here!” Val said, “we didn’t see one.” Audri added, “or we did see one! But maybe it was a nice one.” The alien ran away from them up the hill, saying, “ha! A ‘nice one.’ Like there is such a Bollyck. Oh, never mind, I see it. The monster is up there. You might want to keep your distance if you don’t want to be spattered with Bollyck blood!” Val ran around to get into the abandoned vehicle and said, “come on. They left it running, let’s take this thing.” Alarmed, Audri said, “but I can’t steal! I don’t have the nerves. When I was a kid I stole a piece of five cent candy, and felt so guilty I vomited all night and went back the next day to repay them.” Now behind the wheel, Val said, “then I’ll steal it, and lie to you that I rented it.” Lips pursed, Audri said, “ooh. I hope you got a good rate.”
