Krep contacted Thoos’s parents, Porpa and Heakie, and brought them up on his monitor, saying “hello, Starslicks. My name is Krep. And I have your child. I’m offering to bring them home. But they have no money, so I wanted to make sure you are willing to pay the fare.” Porpa said, “thank goodness. Yes. We were so worried.” Heakie said, “please, put them onscreen.” Presenting Thoos, in Audri’s body, Krep said, “here’s Thoos.” Porpa and Heakie go silent, stunned, and then Heakie said “that’s not Thoos.” Krep replied, “well, apparently they were part of a scientific experiment which put their consciousness in a human body of someone named ‘Audri.'” Looking concerned, Porpa said, “the only reason we’re still on the line is because you are so bad at grifting. We’re not so out of touch that we don’t have some heart.” Heakie added, “maybe we could donate to you taking a grifting course or something.”
