Coming down to the bridge, Purrloin still asleep on her back, Audri came cross Lasper, sitting and contemplating. Audri said, “Hey, it’s the asshat.” Annoyed, Lasper said, “I’m tellin’ you, it was Picknar who kissed me.” Audri asked, “And did Val kiss you first when you did the nasty with her-in-Picknar’s body?” Lasper said, “Well, yeah. And they’re both true! I mean, different situations, but…” Audri put her hands to her hips and said, “I’m all in favor of disposing of gender roles, but sounds like you need to learn to take some initiative in your life.” Lasper said, “Sigh. Maybe. How is she, by the way?” Audri said, “Still unconscious. So, you found Picknar, or at least you found their lips. Did you also find Thoos?” Lasper said, “Yeah. Thoos is on the other ship.” Looking resigned, Audri said, “I suppose I should pay the piper and go visit my body. Does Thoos seem nice?” Lasper said, “Um… Not very. Unless you’re into self-obsessed nitwits.” Walking away, Audri said, “Thinking about Nick in hindsight, I just might be.”
