   What makes I-5 dreaded? I’ve never been to Washington state, so have never driven it up there. I did drive it once in Oregon, and it was pretty pleasant there.

   I find it unattractive, lots of lanes, always too much traffic, and everyone driving in whatever lane they are in the mood for. Also through having driven it too many times perhaps. :)
