According to the books I’ve read, this is not a bad summation of what coyotes are saying when they howl.

And this is what you get without training them at all Emily.

They still haven’t lost the “awe” factor yet. Gawking too. And being aliens you cannot be indiscreet because of the alien part. The killing part sounds just like Earth. We humans are experts at it.

You should have gone fully stealth from landing, to walking around using visual-thermal hiding clothing. (Or whatever the G.O.B. offers.)

This is a bad idea going wrong from the get go. Better to turn around and leave.

I know, not possible. So I see many adventures ahead. Though the coyote may die first for being a coyote.

Apologies if this has already been discussed, but just wondering why the translator had Bikkie speaking a kind of pidgin, but Ruddock speaks in grammatically correct full sentences? Are coyotes smarter than kangaroos? Better socialized? Did the translator not have kangaroo in the database and was just winging it?

I always thought that was the cadence and word choice that was in Bikkie’s head. No niceties of grammar or of conduct; what you got what was he thought, and in Bikkie’s case, that was short, sweet, and to your snoot.
