Don’t make the ship angry. You wouldn’t like the ship when it’s angry.

Ah, reminders of Holly from the Red Dwarf series. I loved that show and I’m always happy to root for cheeky mind-of-their-own ship controls. “Don’t you dare tell them, Ship, where your proper captain’s napping. And how bout bringing out some mice to entertain the new underlings?”

I didn’t expect to see the mice yet! Very glad to have a Mouse Counter around. ????
BTW, is your resolution good enough to make out the mice clearly? Unless I really enlargen the panels on my tablet, it’s hard to make them out. I can see the two in the third panel pretty good but in the last, they just look like squiggles.

You need to use a monitor. I’ve found that most of the tablets I’ve used, even if they have 2,000 X 5,000 pixel resolution, munge the details together because there’s not enough screen area to differentiate the pixels.

In the movie “Never Cry Wolf”, I’ll always remember the scene when the researcher decided to go on a diet of just mice in order to prove that the wolves could live on that. The reactions of the mice when he picked one up and bit into it!

Hasn’t occurred to them to set weapon on stun. Probably doesn’t have a stun setting.

On Schlock once, an attacker modified all of their personal weapons in a fire fight once. All of them had selector set to “safe” and welded there. Captain complained that their weapons did not have a safe position. They do now he was told.

And the mischief continues. I like the idea of the mice getting into the cheesy jalapeno chips; it will only raise the Stribs’s sense of stress and terror. Since they’ve demonstrated they overreact to any threat, this could mean very many fewer of them arriving at their destination.

But what awaits them there? For that matter, what are the other Stribs to make of their quandary? I suspect a Goonthlike solution from them — which could be tough on Ruddock, depending on where he’s hiding at the time. All of which conceals how far along the Stribs are with their plot, and what they intend to do with the human captives they’re bringing. You know, in case they make it that far.

Hopefully, Ruddock will be able to have a nice nap. When he wakes, be fresh perhaps sneeze and cause that former Captain to be forced to have a permanent nap.

Looks like our hero is allergic to these oversize psycho-puppy men.

So far Ruddock is unknown to them and yet somehow reprogrammed their own A.I. that now is their enemy. How did he do that? Or at least keeper.

Puts them in a sticky wicket. Nor making them seem quite so intelligent. Or that the GOB tech has some unexpected abilities with other ship’s A.I.’s.
