The confluence of anxieties, and having to choose the least of the worst. I’m guessing most of us can relate.

    Love it!

The Ruddock special meals to go would be interesting to see.

If there have been some in any of the panels so far, I sadly haven’t noticed. If someone else did, please mention which one. 🙂

Hard to say about that though. Variations appear to be tail shape, ear shape, and body shape… Which of them are random, which of them are non-genetic, and which of them are sex-linked dimorphism?

Could be ears and tails are sex-linked and the skinny one is the mother. Could be body shape is sex-linked and mother’s tail has just had a terrible accident and the ears are random…

Could be they are aliens and “male/female” is just an approximation used by the translator and they actually work totally differently… Even here on earth we have weird stuff like species where it’s the males who give birth, and species which transition between sexes at will.

It could be that the one that has a short tail wasn’t born that way, but lost it in an “accident”. Given their apparent lifestyle as outlaws, the odds of losing one’s tail seem pretty high.

    “…You’re not mad at me?”
“You’re one of the most wanted criminals in the GOB! We’re so proud!”
“That must have been some job you pulled. Worth a fortune. We’d love to see it.”

Wait. Where’d Stangor’s ‘rents come from? The gangster ship? Their own? If so, how’d they find it the same time the guncreatures did? What gives with their change of heart? I smell opportunism, not to mention greed.

This target-rich environment needs answers more than it needs lasers. Who’s gonna give up the truth first?
