I can hear Picknar’s clock ticking from here. I have to wonder if she’d still stay in her swapped body knowing that in a week or a month or so, she won’t be in it anyway, like it or not. Realized I wasn’t familiar with the Taylor Swift song and looked it up. And had an unexpected epiphany. Ignore the noise and distraction, stay true to yourself, shake shake shake it off — This is a Stoic anthem. Perforce, I must agree. As long as you know what you’re about, and what you’re trying to accomplish, you can discard all deflections. Don’t know if Gerek would perceive it that way, but I think he already lives by that rule. QED, people.
