Audri asked the escape pod, “Aside from drinks, can we survive?” The escape pod said, “You’ll be able to survive in the escape pod for as long as the food synth holds out.” Deflated, Audri said, “Sigh. That’s a painfully boring life to look forward to if we’re never rescued. but I guess at least we’ll live.” Val said, “You will. I’ll probably die from whatever illness I have. I feel weaker and weaker. I wonder if this escape pod has a medi-bot. hey ship-” The escape pod interrupted her and said “Yes. Sort-of.” Val asked, “How do you mean?” The escape pod said, “We have a first-aid bot.” Unimpressed, Val said, “What use is that?” The first-aid bot, a little simple looking thing, toddled over to Val and said, “I can dispense bandaids or headache medicine.”
