Lasper said, “basically, the Veefa sends these little envoys, and we ask a few questions, then the Veefa transmits the information we request.” Feekar said, “Huh. Is that how veefas work?” Lasper said, “Well, that’s how a biveefarcator works. The cops have a direct link. this is theoretically the workarou-” Lasper was interrupted by a large “fratz” noice as he was shocked by his device. Lasper became an oragne glowing twice-as-tall version of himself and said, “We are the Veefa. What minuscule wretch signed their death-warrant by disturbing our restful evening?” Now shorter than Lasper, Feekar said, “That’d be the guy whose body you’re controlling. I’m just an innocent bystander.”
