I’m so sorry, Veefa.” The Veefa-possessed-Lasper said, “It’s not okay, because I know you intended to be cruel. But technically you didn’t do what you promised, and so I’m not going to do what I promised.” Squinting, Thoos pointed and said, “But it promised!” Unimpressed, Knox said, “It’s a lie, Thoos. A lie.” The Veefa-possessed-Lasper said, “I won’t release this being I’m embodying. And afterwards, I won’t answer your question.” Picknar said, “Where are our friends, Val, Audri, and Gerek?” The Veefa-possessed-Lasper said, “”They’re in the market buying vegetables.” Realizing their plan totally failed, Picknar said, “Oh right. Lying. Sigh.”

They’re not in the market, which is near here, so they can’t be anywhere near here, so they must be off-planet, and the only other place they could get to off-planet is Huark, which is a desert planet. They must have been sent off-planet because they didn’t have any money, and they’re still alive, so they didn’t burn up in the sun, so they must have escaped in an escape pod that landed on Huark. Escape pods have food synths, so they’re obviously stuck in the escape pod living off free snacks and drinks, which aren’t purchased vegetables, and they’ve probably altered the first-aid bot for fun because there’s nothing else to do. Now do you get it?”
