He handed on to Picknar and said, “Looked like you needed this.” Picknar took a drink and said, “Lasper slept with my body, Rigo. And then I just kissed Lasper. I don’t feel emotionally okay.” Rodrigo said, “After all that, I’d be worried if you did.” Pickner threw their arms out and said, “I just don’t get it. Kissing him wasn’t behavior I ever would have done in my body. I mean, sure, I was upset at Val, and that was mostly the reason for the first kiss.” Then Picknar got wide eyed in confusion and exxcitement and alarm and said, “But then I started feeling reeeeealllllly goooood.” Grinning, Rodrigo said, “May hormones destroy all our lives, halleluja.”

Everyone has hormonal issues when their bodies change.
So, maybe I’ve just missed it, but has anything been done at all to help with Val/Piknar’s body that’s dying?
All I seem to remember is they arrived, rushed over, saw her there in a very very unwell state, then everyone either left the room, or started kissing and then left the room. Did they even call a medibot?
I think it happened off-screen.
Val/Piknar said that she survived the Klopey Kloke desease.
I feel like a lot of the important stuff has happened off-screen.
The two big motivators of this entire expedition were, as far as I understood it: Get their bodies back, make sure Piknar’s body doesn’t die. And they’ve finally succeeded but dealing with the disease has happened off-screen, and any sort of “Oh thank god, our bodies!” has likely done so as well, at the expense of “Hey, kissing feels good.”
It *is* interesting, the love hyper-triangle that Val/Pik/Lasper are in…but could we put a bit of a spotlight on major focus of the entire story before getting “Days of our Space-Lives?”
It can be hard to deal out the strips one by one, because I’m juggling so much story, and when you read all the pages at once (like I can do, and you can do eventually when it’s done) the points don’t feel as far apart as posting it online as a daily when a single scene can take weeks.
But yes, the recovery will be talked about on Friday, and some of this is setting up the next step of what they need to do and what they will do now that they’ve been united. 🙂
If I didn’t know better, I’d say this is turning into a tale of polyspecific polyamory. This could be quite entertaining.

I find myself liking Rigo a little more every time I see him. He’s an agent of chaos and sass, but a Kind, good hearted one. I can see why Knox loves him despite his shenaniganry.
