Sometimes I feel like Val. I’m open and game to doing things, but sometimes I don’t express it like a madwomen with handbells.

With Lasper, Val, Audri and Gerek still in this ship lounge, Lasper said to Val, “those are good reasons to avoid earth, Val. I hear you. But to start with, we certainly won’t be the first aliens to go to a dark planet. We can figure that part out easy enough. And if there are Tithorons in your bodies, they’re likely as confused and frustrated as you, and so they could likely use some saving. And maybe the experiment is reversible. I think we should find them, help them, and try.” Looking worried and upset, Val said, “I just don’t want to see my body walking around.” Lasper reassured her, “I personally promise that if we do pick them up, that i’ll make sure you can have separate quarters where you won’t have to see your body.” Val asked, “Really? You’d do that for me?” Lasper said, “of course.” Val said, “Well, I guess so. Okay. We can go. Sorry, I’m not showing much excitement or gratitude. That’s more audri’s department.” Audri pointed at Audri with her thumb, while Audri madly played her handbells, DONG! DONG! DONG! DONG! DONG! Lasper said sarcastically, “Oh? I’d never have guessed.”
