Still being chased by authors with laser guns, zap zap, Audri said, “you know, Val, there’s this guy back on earth, Nick.” Val said, “do tell.” Smiling as she ran, Audri said, “well, in the realm of love? I found the one, for sure.” Reflecting back, Audri continued, “I mean, not much works out for me in life, I got poor grades through school. I was always picked on. No good at sports. Not much of an artistic eye.” Baffled, Val asked, “why are you telling me this now?” With a big smile on her face, Audri said, “because the authorities chasing us will probably catch up to us, and then we’re probably going to be captured and maybe even killed. But you can rest easy knowing that it wasn’t a life in vain. At least I experienced love.” Severely unimpressed, Val said, “that’s such a consolation.” Happily excited, Audri replied, “oh good! I’m so rarely able to lift people’s spirits!”
