I had to force myself to write the words “arugula casserole.” Power to you all who think that sounds good, but I unfortunately have a real problem with bitter tastes, and so I will leave enough for you to have second and third helpings.

Audri left the kitchen and entered her bedroom, still on the phone with Nick, and told him, “okay, well, I’m off to the hot springs then.” Nick said, “okay. I’d love to see you though. How about dinner later?” She said, “sure. Where do you want to go?” Nick said, “I could come over and make that arugula casserole you love.” Audri sat on the bed, smiled with pleasure, and said, “thank you, that’s so sweet and kind of you.” Warming to his subject, Nick then added, “and we could light some romantic candles. And then go for a walk under the stars and dream of our future adventures together.” Touched by this, Audri rested her head in her hand and said, “I love you so much, Nick.” He replied, “and I love you, Audri. You’re my life.” Appreciating his thoughtfulness, she said, “thank you for prioritizing me. I’ll be waiting for you with lots of kisses.” Nick excitedly replied, “in that case, I gotta go to save Geffa as quickly as humanly possible!”
