Professor Festus Loomp emerged from a hallway leading off of the waiting area. He was a bit older -- wearing spectacles and was of a more gray hue than the potential subjects. He gestured for Picknar and another Tith to follow, saying, "Picknar, Thoos, come with me. I'm professor Festus Loomp. You two have been chosen as the ideal pair for this experiment, largely based on intelligence." Loomp began getting excited, warming to the subject. "Intelligence intelligence intelligence! It's the most important factor." Loomp led them down the hallway, continuing to explain the experiment, "to be more clear about it, it's part of larger work I'm doing in spacial transference." Picknar innocently asked, "that's just another word for 'teleportation,' isn't it?" Annoyed by this question, Loomp griped, "sigh. don't test results which read, 'as intelligent as a lopsided rock' mean anything anymore?"
