05/15/13 Torniport Return Plans

|

Note: The kitten is well. She still has a URI, but is doing better and is very playful and a real purrer. She’s good company.

I wish there was more time in the day. I built tomato planter boxes this weekend, but don’t have pictures to show yet because we’re flipping them upside down for now to protect our other plants from the late frost (tomatoes to be planted tomorrow). I’ve begun the sketches for a freelance job involving mice and crickets. I’ve just done the first attempt at final designs for the characters for the strip which will replace Spacetrawler (I finally have the style down, but only like 2 out of the 6 designs). Since I sent my novel to my agent last week, I’ve dug out my previous novel which had gone on hold, and I began working on that again.

Good times. I just have so many thoughts and ideas in my head, I wish time was slower or I was super-fast! Ah well. I love it. I just love it so much.

The situation seems so dire and proportionally huge to them, that most would just cower at the truth that they are simply impotent.

So, meditation periods actually help them cope with the task and their role in it.

@Kedamono: Don’t share your theories. Wouldn’t be the first time a cartoonist changes an awesome story into a less awesome one just because he had been found out and wanted it to be unique.
    Also, Kitties!

Christopher, will the new comic have it’s own website as this did? I assume so. I may be called out of country, can you email the faithful the addy for the new strip when it opens? I likely will not have internet access, and I’d hate to come back and not be able to find it to get caught up on the archives.

In panel 7, there’s a question mark at the end of Dusty’s statement that he thought Martina was dead, in violation of intergalactic rules of grammar. (Intergalactic grammar is quite strict, it turns out)

I think it’s sweet that Dusty only puts the bar-bot down when he sits down. Otherwise, he’s holding him. (Her? Surely not it!) And Chris, would you please add the bar-bot tag to the strip?

In panel 8, between Dusty’s legs, the cliff is white. Just FYI 🙂

I can’t wait to find out what happens but I don’t want it to end!! Aaaah conflicting feels!
