This is why I never used to speak up whenI worked in an office setting, because I was always the one at the bottom of a dark impenetrable cell.

“Load up on guns, bring your friends
It’s fun to lose and to pretend”

“With the lights out it’s less dangerous
Here we are now, entertain us
      I feel stupid and contagious
Here we are now, entertain us”

      Kurt really was a visionary.

I see. So it’s death by madness, until only one muddled entity is left who can be dispatched with ease.

Does not seem to be a winning strategy in this case. Jabby has a tendency to make madness communicable, and not in its original form.

I can’t help but think of a quote (which was so long ago, I know I’m getting the details wrong, B-U-U-U-T … here goes).

I believe it was during the Battle of Leyte Gulf, when the Americans, having fallen for a dummy attack, left the large portion of its fleets with insufficient munitions and older aircraft, and only lightly defended. The Japanese forces attacked with their superior aircraft and ships. The Americans fought back with such ferocity (at one point, the American aircraft did “dummy” strafing runs, designed to rattle the Japanese sailors because the Americans didn’t have any ammo left in the machine guns — and it worked) that the Japanese retired from the battle, thinking they were facing a much larger force than their intelligence had predicted.

One Navy gunner was reported to have said something like, “Keep it up, fellas! We’re luring them into the range of our 38s!” These were shells 5 inches in diameter — not the sort of thing you use against, say, a heavily-armed destroyer or an aircraft carrier. Unless you bring in your targets until you are effectively at point-blank range. Then these shells can be … distressing. The ship that was launching most of these shells was eventually severely damaged and had to withdraw from the battle, but she did her part in convincing the Japanese battle fleet to be somewhere else.

So, yeah. Jabby’s got Gounder running scared…
