Kniff sat on the bridge of the ship, when they heard their name being called by Audri. The call grew louder, and Kniff ran down the stairs and the exit ramp to find Audri (with Purrloin asleep on her back) and Gerek. Gerek said, “Hello, Kniff.” Kniff said, “Oh. Hi, Gerek.” Then Kniff said to Audri, “Audri, are you okay? Why were you calling me?” Audri said, “I need to know: is he real, or just a hallucination?” Kniff said, “He’s real. but… um… Gerek, weren’t you on the ship that flew into the star?” Gerek said, “I crawled the quarter mile along the ship’s hull to the cockpit, bypassing the inner welded-shut doors. Then I managed to bust into it, re-wire the manual controls, and fly it here.” Wide-eyed, Audri said, “Holy shit, Gerek. that’s bat-shit insane.” Gerek said, “Not wanting to fly into a star is a big motivator.”

Eh, we all knew he’d pull something like that.
That’d surely motivate me!
So this means Gerek saved everyone, right.

Kniff heard Audri calling out from above him, but is shown running down to reach her. The interior of the ship is like the Gilmore Girls’ house.
