Picknar and Knox carried a pile of brown stinking stuff and dropped it on a covered ramp, protecting them from the rain of acid. Rodrigo commented, "Oh monster food, thy name is 'fetid.'" They waited until a Krogg approached, quickly ate up all the drugged food, and then passed out. Knox said, "I get that way after a big meal as well." Picknar said, "The drugs helped." Rodrigo added, "The drugs always help."

I needed the extra panel for the sequence, so this strip has an extra panel (and the next one has one missing) (the next one having one missing is because these are both halves of the same full page for the printed books).

    1. I don’t think I’ve mentioned the Krogs, which was a mistake on my part (I thought I had). They are rain-of-acid proof beasts who wander the plains. Anyhow, and it seems I need some text explaining the shift of scene too. Before Monday’s post I’ll figure out how to deal with that discrepancy. Apologies.
