So in the last strip I mentioned Kroggs in the alt-text, but of course none of you knew what they were. Here’s the explanation.

I needed the extra panel for the previous sequence, so this strip has a missing panel (and the previous one has one extra) (this one needs to have one missing is because these are both halves of the same full page for the printed books).

-Picknar drove a van-like vehicle out onto the ramp. Lasper, walking out, said, “Well, kroggs are tough, one of the only rain-of-acid-impermeable creatures on the planet, but that sleeping drug should keep it unconscious for a couple of days.” Knox asked, “‘Should’?” Picknar got out of the vehicle and said “Okay, let’s load it up.” Looking at the vehicle, Knox said, “I still can’t believe this whole vehicle is made of non-metalic minerals. Just rock. It makes me feel like Fred Flintstone.” Rodrigo said, “You look more like Barney Rubble.” Gerek drove a forklift out and proceeded to use it to life the Krogg up on top of the vehicle. Knox said to Rodrigo, “I’m pretending I didn’t hear that.” Rodrigo replied, “In that case, I’m pretending I repeated myself to make sure you did.”
