-Turning the gun on Audri, Napforth said, “And now that I’ve made you watch your own parents die, Thoos, it’s your turn.” But before Napforth pulled the trigger, Spizz and Gerek knocked Napforth out with their fists. Audri whispered out loud to herself, “We’d planned to knock out the guard, but this is a bit of an unexpected script change. ummm…” Audri suddenly exclaimed at Spizz, “Gahhh! The safest thing is to run further into the prison before they get up!” Spizz yelled back, “No! We need to make sure they’re locked up while they’re down!” Pointing at Spizz, Audri yelled, “I’m your boss now, Spizz, and we do safety first! Plus, we can’t miss the serum-giving!” Spizz yelled back, “Thoos! You’re not thinking straight! You’re freaking out because your parents were just murdered!” Balling her fists, Audri yelled, “I’m crying inside, okay? But this is important! Right now I really want to see someone suffer!” Smiling, Spizz said, “Okay. Maybe you are thinking straight.” Lasper said to Spizz, “Seriously? That’s the argument you found compelling?”

I’ve yet to see any rationality survive a confusion bath. Or shower. Or spa, for that matter, but— Let’s move on.
