Their three-letter acronym should stand for Arrogantly Superior Sapients. Night-Gaunt49 November 12, 2019 at 12:49 am 2 months ago Rather callous of them to have that as a back up plan. And now the child knows their next move. And will be reporting. Then it gets ugly. I hope they have axes to help hide the bodies… Kirt Dankmyer November 12, 2019 at 12:59 am 2 months ago ADORABLE PUPPY AXES 🙂 Keith November 13, 2019 at 8:05 am 2 months ago Oi, mate it’s the puppies what be getting the axe…it’ll be stew tonight. Rikard November 12, 2019 at 3:02 am 2 months ago Sounds like a bad irish joke (aren’t them all?). “The doctor is ready for you now.” “Oh? Which doctor is that?” “No , not a witchdoctor, doctor Lobe O’Tommy of Cork.” Right. Get out the door, you say mister doorman? I can walk on my own murghbllrhg “is tossed into the street” Stephen November 12, 2019 at 6:25 am 2 months ago Can the little girl understand what they’re saying if she hasn’t been zapped with the translator? Dean L. Surkin November 12, 2019 at 6:51 am 2 months ago She zapped herself as she was going upstairs. Nomi November 12, 2019 at 10:45 am 2 months ago My money’s on Aitana as the Emily/Anesu of this adventure. russell styles November 12, 2019 at 11:05 am 2 months ago Is it wrong to hope that this species goes extinct soon? russell styles November 12, 2019 at 11:37 am 2 months ago I don’t suppose that the scorcher is on the gun the child just stole. Christopher Baldwin November 12, 2019 at 11:44 am 2 months ago @Russel, ha! What an interesting direction that would have been to take! (but, in this case, “no,” it was just the translator chip gun) Werwolfe November 12, 2019 at 5:53 pm 2 months ago Hmm. Basing on how you’re setting this up, I’m guessing Emily’s totally going to shoot and eat an adorable puplien by the end of this episode. Were those fava beans she’d packed? Or maybe she’ll shoot one and her new coyote bestie’ll chow down. More audience friendly. (Marginally.) Pete Rogan November 12, 2019 at 6:08 pm 2 months ago I am strangely comforted that the humans who have had their sympathy twisted right out of them are still self-possessed enough to retain their rightful suspicion of aliens who come in the door and shoot people before asking their help to — what was the word? — Oh, yes, ‘build them a homeworld.’ It would seem that all now understand the Puppies are talking out of one side of their mouth whilst plotting out the other half. For purposes still not clear in any fashion. How long the double subterfuge goes along depends on what the Puppies expect from their ‘hosts.’ My money’s on simple kidnapping and slavery. They don’t care if they crush houses; why should they care who exactly they want to terraform (or Puppiform) their new homeworld? Presuming that’s the reason they came at all. I doubt it most sincerely, but the purpose of all these paired but otherwise unrelated people they’re collecting (all without children for some other reason) still escapes my scrutiny. Hmm. Book 7 started here (actually a couple of days earlier but this has the chapter number on it): https://www.baldwinpage.com/spacetrawler/2018/08/22/082218-yuri-at-home/ Book 9 started here (again really 2 days earlier): https://www.baldwinpage.com/spacetrawler/2019/10/09/100919-book-9-chapter-1-earth/ Muzhik November 12, 2019 at 9:53 pm 2 months ago I don’t need ceiling vents. I have ADHD. And I learned long ago that it is AMAZING what you can learn when people think you’re not paying attention. Leave a Reply Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
