I finally got to inking it and coloring it almost 29 months later. I’ll leave the sketched version below.

WEEK TWO OF —- Presented here is the final scripts for this week, but with only rough thumbnail sketches. Apologies. I have this huge animation job due April 1st, and what with the house buying (Monday is the day I remove half the roof before the roofers arrive) and this and that, I’m behind schedule. I will do final drawings for these in April.

  1. These “thumbnail sketches” are great!

Sometimes I get grumpy when an author posts B&W rather than just taking a break and doing the full color, since it usually involves lineart for both foreground *and* background, with little distinction between them—and it’s hard to tell what’s going on.

(I mean, I’m not actually entitled to their time and energy! It’s their comic. But that’s my reaction.)

But… these “thumbnail sketches” are great! You’re capturing everything essential, and I’m not missing any part of the story, as far as I can tell. (I suppose we’re missing a lot of metaphorical color—the settings are definitely something I enjoy about Spacetrawler.)

So… no apologies needed, as far as I’m concerned. 🙂

I can relate to the Space Puppie. I wanted to punch the symbiont since the smiley face on yesterday’s panel 3.

Kidnapping someone for survival reasons is one thing, but doing it with a smile on your face is a little too much.

Ah, the dynamic amongst these three grows nuances! Rage, regret, rapport, and rudeness. I’ve seen TV series go on for a half-dozen seasons with less.

Town will only bring the rough edges out sharper, the hidden barbs go deeper, and the recalcitrant savagery be called into full flower like a grenade!

Now kicking back and enjoying the weekend with a smile, because I know Monday is gonna hurt.
