Val very gorggily started waking up and said, “What’s going on? Where am I?” Audri said, “You’re safe, Val. I’m here, and so is Gerek.” Gerek said, “Hey, Val.” For the first time registering he was there, Val said, “Gerek! Oh my god! How are you here?” Audri yelled out the story with wildness, “He clambered up the hull of ‘Compassion I’ with no gear and single-handedly saved it and everyone on it, and brought it back to Haurk.” Val said, “That’s so you, Gerek. “It’s nice to know the universe still has some ‘normalcy’ to it.” Gerek smiled ever-so-slightly and said, “I like to oblige.” Pondering, Val said, “You know, I had this terrible dream. I dreamt I woke up to see Lasper making out with my body.” Gerek said, “Yeah. Audri told me about tha-” But then Audri interrupted him and said, “What a far-fetched dream! Wow, you have such a wild imagination, Val!”
