Originally I had drawn it on with ropes, until I realized that was illogical. Because Spacetrawler is ALL about logic. 😉

But now the vehicle’s protected. There’s no wind on this moon, but in case you need to drive fast when escaping, I installed ten layers of windshields so we’ll have at least a little bit of time before the acid burns through. Drive it to the coordinates we decided on, not too far from the prison entrance.” Knox rolled his eyes and said, “I know. I know.” Lasper continued, Area scanners will detect the krogg, and since the vehicle is stone, and you’re just flesh, it won’t detect anything. If the area scanners do notice you, it’ll just think you’re in its stomach.” Unexcited by this, Knox got into the vehicle, saying. “I feel so comforted.”

Hey, it’s Krogg eat Knox world out there.
Gee, I wonder if they are going to have to drive fast when escaping, and if acid dissolving the windshields will be a factor.

I don’t think it’s possible to have an atmosphere and no wind. This isn’t about the comic (which has never pretended to be “hard” SF), just that it reminded of this fun fact.

Albeit weird, this is so far a pretty good plan!
“Because Spacetrawler is ALL about logic” Oh, it is. We may start in some weird places and go to even weirder ones, but we will always get from A to B in a perfectly logic (albeit weird) way. That’s one of the charms of the series – it always follow an impeccable internal logic.
I— No, no, I promised myself I wouldn’t lead anybody on as to plot points and strategy and such. I’ll just note in passing that I wonder if the guards, when they were kids, ever strapped their teddy bears to a Tonka toy and let it run in the rain. The momentary retreat into nostalgia could prove telling.
