Nothing gets through security.

-Napforth scanned the party for weapons and said, “What the… my scan says we need to hold onto your bag and shoulder belt.” Rodrigo pulled them out from under his robe and said, “Oh, these old things? Sure.” Napforth then said to Gerek and Lasper, “And your belt. And your gloves.” They handed over the items, with Gerek saying, “Yeah,” and Lasper saying, “Okay.” With all the items in a box, Napforth said, “What were you all thinking? You know you can’t bring this stuff in.” Rodrigo leaned over towards Napfroth and said, “We went out drinking last night and didn’t get a chance to swing by our places to drop them off before work.” Grinning, Napforth said, “Heh. Yeah. Been there. Well, retrieve them from the property office on your way out.” Rodrigo patted Napforth on the shoulder, retrieving the small maroon object, and said, “Heh. See? We’re all buddies now.” Napforth gave Rodrigo the look of death, and then said, “Arm.” Rodrigo stood up straight and said, “Right. Keeping it in my arm socket. Got it.”

I don’t think they or the property office will be in any condition for picking up on the way out.
Oooh. Rigo stashed the object on the person of the frisker, and retrieved it again post-frisk.
Classic!!
Hahaha, good catch! Good ol’ Rigo.
Says so in hover text.
Even extraterrestrial security requires you to remove your belt before they’ll let you in.
Belt, belt, who’s got the belt? More to the point, was this a distraction for the distraction, or something more nefarious? Gee, I’m out of lemonade already. Oh, but it’s October. Switching to cider.
What is the maroon object?
Something tells me we’ll find out in the next few pages.
