Goodness that was a grueling drive. You can read my quips from the road if you wish from my Twitter account. And have another strip ready for you! In the previous strip… MattStriker September 28, 2016 at 2:28 am 6 years ago To be fair, I’d trust alcohol and blind luck more than their actual judgement when it comes to recruiting… Coyoty September 28, 2016 at 2:36 am 6 years ago Drunk coin tossing… That’s truly random. I like to make my decisions with a clear 20-sided die with a 20-sided die inside it. I need to get drunk first. caribouchat September 28, 2016 at 5:40 am 6 years ago Didn’t they remember poor Dustin’s twin? Bill, was it? Tim McCormack September 28, 2016 at 8:42 am 6 years ago Well, they probably have some coins for payment for goods on Earth. And also to make bad decisions with. Christopher Baldwin September 28, 2016 at 9:40 am 6 years ago @Caribouchat, he actually WAS in the running, but lost the flip. @Tim_McCormack, hahahaha! 🙂 Night-Gaunt49 September 28, 2016 at 2:13 pm 6 years ago Coins don’t break down, credits could if the system is broken or attacked. Muzhik September 28, 2016 at 3:21 pm 6 years ago @Night-Gaunt49, tell that to Denmark, followed by Norway and Sweden (total insane drunken louts, the lot of them!) Denmark is planning to be COMPLETELY cashless by the end of the year. Fools. It’s all that pickled herring, if you ask me. Mix that with Akvavit, and you never know WHAT you’ll get. Probably a bad SyFy Saturday night horror movie. Sardtok September 29, 2016 at 7:23 am 6 years ago No one ever pays with cash here… Unless they are tourists or elderly. Cash is so 1980’s. Norway representin’. 😛 Tourists and their cash is a major problem for shops, because they rarely carry enough change. Muzhik September 29, 2016 at 11:23 am 6 years ago @Sardtok, Then you must start a crash course on Zen Buddhism for all the shopkeepers. For as every Zen master will tell you … (… wait for it …) … Change must come from within. Night-Gaunt49 September 29, 2016 at 1:26 pm 6 years ago I find cash very useful. It would be a harder place to live it is was only electronic money. Harder when there is a black out or disaster. A fool and their e-money are hard to get after an X Class coronal mass ejection from our sun. Hard money not so much touched. Such a one as in 1859 would have wiped out most of our means of generating electricity and our machines to use it. 1859 there were just a few electrical devices like the Trans Atlantic Cable for a few telephones and wireless. Now it is a whole different matter. No mass incineration of things as has been wrongly depicted in a movie and on Dr. Who a few years ago. Total black out without Snake Pliskin’s involvement. Returning to before electricity in one night. A dystopia I don’t want to live in. Frank October 31, 2018 at 1:23 am 4 years ago Seen cash eschewed and blackouts happen. That’s when tabs come in. TB September 29, 2016 at 1:33 pm 6 years ago “Um…so exactly what is this u-shaped tube popping up in the middle of the cafeteria?” “Oh, that’s the main anti-matter flow line. Didn’t quite fit on the engineering deck. I wouldn’t lean on it if I were you.” Frank October 31, 2018 at 1:25 am 4 years ago I’m seeing worrying similarities between Mr. Zorilla’s face and Reemp’s Frank October 31, 2018 at 1:39 am 4 years ago Also, Reemp is technically a passenger, not crew Leave a Reply to Frank Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
