Wow, this is page #300 (that’s 600 comics)!

I know the first series had 386 pages (plus 28 pages of the bonus Emily comic), and the second series had 317 pages (plus 7 pages of the bonus Wezzle/Bikkie comic), so it’s not my first rodeo. But each time I am AMAZED what the project has become. And happy! 🙂

And funny that last spring I thought it would wrap up last summer. it always takes so much longer than planned. 🙂

I have Diller’s kind of luck, and I’ve come to the conclusion that it works because it’s weird and funny. It’s trickster luck (ergo the identification with Coyote). I may have a trickster guardian like Diller has Chris.

Christopher: I hope that when you ultimately retire the Space Trawler series, you offer a hardback complete collection in your store. I also hope that time is not too soon because I enjoy your story-telling and art.

I like projects that take on a life of their own. What begins as a notion, a curiosity or a response to a dare becomes a universe of its own, spiralling and taking on new shape and reality as it goes. Nothing else quite like it.

Congrats on making 300 with Spacetrawler 3, Christopher. I am already expecting to see you reach (and breach!) 1200 pages. If not in this instance, then perhaps the next. Bar-bot included or no.

In the Endtown strip, she would be called a star. In Aaron Neathery’s multiverse, the different realities have people who, through some natural law of probabilities, overcome incredible odds and come out on top.

    A treasure.

The idea of luck going beyond happenstance is that somehow random chance is altered to give all positive or negative. And you could be insulated from both or not. And that will change the dynamics of the story any story written. Keith Laumer has used it in some of his fiction.
