Thoos and Picknar sat on the bridge of Thoos’s ship as Audri (with Purrloin on her back) and Val entered. Val said, “Okay, here I am. I’m finally feeling well enough to face all this.” Picknar said, “Okay. Well, to start with, we’re all in agreement to try to reverse this body swap thing, right?” Val said, “Yes.” Thoos said, “Whatever the cost.” With arms flung out, Audri said, “Yes. If for no other reason than to forget the withering repulsion in Nick’s eyes. I’ve never had much issue with negative self-image, but I certainly do now.” Thoos observed, “You do know that for a Tithoron you’re drop-dead gorgeous.” Audri replied sarcastically, “Wow. Totally useful information if I was trying to attract a deep shag carpet!”
