Love makes us do the stupidest things.

-With the lights low, Rodrigo and Knox lay in bed. Rodrigo said, “I know you think we shouldn’t get involved, but for some reason I feel I should be part of this prison break. I’ll still love you if you decide to not a part of it.” Knox sighed and said, “Thank you. And it’s true, I kinda’ just want to go home, to return to our simple life. But even more than that, whatever I do, I want to do it with you, Rigo. I love you. And so, if you’re doing this mad caper, then my going along is part of us being together on the other end of it. Whether it be free, in prison, or dead.” Rodrigo propped himself up by his arms, hovered over Knox, and said “Well, as much as my bravery and idiocy are both noble reasons, know that I admire you even more for doing it as an act of love.” Knox said, “I just can’t say ‘no’ to you, my love.” Rodrigo said, “Thank you, my beloved. Will you ever leave me?” Knox said, “No.” Leaning in and kissing Knox, Rodrigo said, “Well, that ban on the word ‘no’ didn’t last very long.”
