So, I’ve been enjoying formatting Anna Galactic, and have been pleased with ending each strip where a “punchline” falls. Out of curiosity, I put it together as how it will read in print form, to see if the natural page breaks work. They do!

If you’re curious, here’s a low-res PDF of the first 25 pages.

So, I’m in Arizona. A month in the desert. That should clear my head (and get me up on deadlines).

So, Friday I ended up pulling into Phoenix at night, long after the strip posted. but I made it safe, the car did okay, and Cadfael, who is being adopted by an old dear friend of mine) and his family) enjoyed the ride quite well.

I know a surprisingly fair number of people in Phoenix, and so did weekend visits, the only time most of them have free, before preparing to go ot my first settled destination. A Navajo Hogan for a month in northern Arizona. My hands are so itching to do nothing but write, draw, and paint.

Hi! Almost on the road. A few final packing things. I thought I’d be leaving Monday morning… but… it might be Tuesday morning. Who knew that putting one’s entire life in storage (or in the car) would be so much work?

But I’m walking on clouds with excitement.

Oh, so, this weekend I was part of the local “24 Hour Playfest” to support APE (Art in the Public Eye)

Essentially, we met up Friday night, randomly chose teams (3 or 4 actors, 1 director, and 1 writer per team, 10 teams). The writers (like me) stayed up all night writing a play. Then starting EARLY on Saturday, the actors learned and got ready and performed the plays that night.

My play was titled “Love and the Apocalypse,” directed by Lee Gooden, starring Kara Woomer, Sydney Clifford, and Jabori Williams (in order of appearance). Jabori won the award for best actor for the evening, congratulations! And here is is:

It’s so hard to do any good espeionage these days, with everyone looking over your shoulder!

Hi, all! Thank you. Thank you everyone for all your support, with all the various ways of supporting that I’ve been posting about, but also over the years, and simply by lending your eyes and your hearts. Thank you.

All is well. I’ve been packing all day, and it’s almost midnight. So I have 3 more hours to go. Fun! Oy, can’t wait til the packing is over.

Happy Birthday me! Yay. 🙂

And final day! So…

I’m about to embark on an indefinitely long journey, moving from place to place every month, around the country, making a portable storage unit out of my car, and using airbnb.com for all my stays.

What this means, and how you can support my endeavor:

1. Indiegogo Campaign! I am doing an Indiegogo campaign in exchange for artwork I’ll be doing while on the road. Want art from me? Such as watercolors, ink drawings, character sketches, and oil paintings? Go check it out. And help launch my travels!

2. Patreon Page! Do all of you know I have a Patreon page? An awesome way to support an artist whose work you love. It’s kind like an online tip jar. Check it out.

3. TopatoCo store! Any other books or merch in my TopatoCo store.

4. Amazon Wish List! I have some books and supplies to help me on my way on my Amazon Wish List.

5. Little Dee Originals won’t be on sale for however long I’m on the road (your last day, February 25). So, if you want to purchase any of the archive strips, and help support the launching of my journeying, it might be a while before they’re available again.

6. Little Dee b&w collections! As you may know, I have completed the full-color Little Dee graphic novel (totally new story!) for Penguin/Dial books. It is due out this summer, at which point (according to contract) the Little Dee b&w collections, which you know and love, will have to be made unavailable. So, make sure to make purchases before this summer. And what better time than now, to help launch my travels! ;-)
