And thank you for all the people who donated their houses to be crushed!

Crushing buildings and anyone in them creates the juxtaposition of initial big-eyed cuteness with the now cruel uncaring superiority and makes us detest these aliens to the utmost degree possible. And yes, Christopher probably kept doing it because it was fun. πŸ˜€ I wonder if they’ll crush anything else too if they land on other planets.

Well, I’m getting a little bit confused. How do we know which panels are taking place in Murcia and which panels are taking place in the US? Because I thought Genius got hooked on the chips while they were in Murcia, yet it appears that both the truck (based on the lettering on the side) and the house (based on style and, let’s face it, size) both appear to be from America.

I’m asking because I don’t think Spain has IGA stores, meaning the truck, house, nurse et al must be from America. So, Spanish trucks aren’t worthy of looting? Maybe these canids (do they have a species name yet, like Kreggerites, or maybe just “Spotists” to go along with their puppy-dog eyes?) are simply averse to the metric system.

The semi looks American-sized, but has certain Euro features about it — the boxy cab (cabovers kind of went out of style in the US with standard-length trailers, but I see older ones coming out of mothballs) mainly. But the extra, retractable axle on the trailer for heavier loads is something else that would be Euro on a box trailer (in the US, I mainly see them on rock haulers).

And now I have to wonder: What’s Kregger to these casual house-crushing abducting liars? Contact? Customer? Supervisor?

I haven’t met him/her yet but I already despise her/him on general principles. You keep baaaaaad company, Kregger, and I suspect it’s because you’re even WORSE company.

    Let’s see what you got.

    1. Muzhik

I think “Kregger” is a planet, not an entity (intelligent being? cruel overlord?), because back at the house the bad doggies made reference to going to “Kregger-3”, i.e. 3rd planet of the Kregger star system.

        1. Muzhik

@Muzhik, it was Kregger on Durnheim-3.

Kregger? Oh … ah … OH! KREGGER! I thought you said “Kegger”. You know, to go with all those cheesy jalapeno snacks? Sorry … my bad …

And the trucker? Don’t discount the inevitability of “Return of Minor Character”! Anya in Buffy the Vampire Slayer was only supposed to be there for something like a 3 episode arc, and wound up staying till the end of the series. Substitute “Mercadona” or even “Aldi” for “IGA” and it could work.

We got a fine leisurely view of these aliens and showing what that ugly attitude is universal, at least between mammals that is.

This crushing makes for a good end to this particular chapter. All beautifully rendered.

One can imagine what the Spanish would make of these happenings? WE were told 40+ years ago by the Spanish military that, “we Spanish have no part of the U.F.O.s” or something to that effect.

The fear of meeting aliens who think more like psychopaths than empathic beings.

Chris, blame Muzhik for this. If that’s a Spanish home, it seems to be flying a flag in the back that has red, white, and blue, but no yellow. Which means it likely isn’t the Spanish flag at all.

That’s leaving aside how many Spaniards fly the national flag in their backyards at home, and leave it up at night. Which are typical American flag behaviors.

I wouldn’t have noticed at all had Muzhik not mentioned the apparent continent-hopping. Now I see what confused him. I HATE doing that.
