Whoot! Strip is done, just under the gun. Been drawing all day! Have a great weekend!

Okay, I haven’t slept well for four days now, for no good reason. Normally, sure, I’m awake enough to function. But this is a development time, which means my brain has to be at 110%. Which is frustrating.

I know many other people have much worse sleep issues. And normally I sleep pretty good. But, we all have our own burden, and this week mine is barely being able to stay focused. Huzzah! I will have to must rise to the… yawwwwn…. what was I talking about?

I spent the weekend treating it like a weekend (except about a half day working). What a novel concept. My sis is back, but I still am here for a bit, so I still get to hang out with Bridget. Yay. 🙂

Stop reading ahead, Seymour.

Spent a huge chunk of yesterday reading mystery and spy thriller plot summaries for a project I’m working on. Oh, and a bunch of movie trailers and stuff about prep schools. It’s weird feeding the beast. I’m not looking for anything in particular, just broadening ideas about the themes I’m playing with. Fun stuff.

Bridget is well. I just gave her a dog cookie for confirmation.

Had a great weekend. Even I’m a bit amazed at how much I got done. Must be the company of Bridget, who I’m dog-sitting, reminding me to take a walk twice a day, and bringing me back to the “real” world every half hour or so with a noxious fart. Good-hearted dear old stinky girl, Bridget.

Dog sitting for a week. My little niece-dog, Bridget. It will be a good week.

Leaving Eugene. Had a great time here. Got tons of work done, and the Bijou theater plays AWESOME movies. Although I didn’t have time to see the Lobster over at the Metro. Ah well, on to Northern California!

Stuffs about to get REAL. Except that it’s science fiction, so none of it is real. 🙂
